I’m excited to announce a new parenting book club and processing group focused on Daniel J. Siegel, M.D., and Mary Hartzell, M.Ed.’s insightful book, “Parenting from the Inside Out.”
Have you ever found yourself echoing phrases from your own childhood while parenting your children, and perhaps questioned whether you might be repeating less helpful patterns? This book delves into how our personal histories significantly shape our approaches to parenting. By connecting the latest findings in neurobiology and attachment research, Siegel and Hartzell illuminate the powerful role of interpersonal connections in the development of the brain. They offer parents a clear framework for exploring their own backgrounds, with the goal of fostering greater compassion and resilience in their children.
