Individual Counseling

I offer a uniquely tailored, holistic approach to therapy by utilizing a variety of assessments to gain insight into personality and the core beliefs that influence mental health symptoms, such as depression and anxiety. Using this information, I create a treatment plan that takes into consideration personality, background, spirituality, and values. My goal is to treat the whole person and not just the symptoms. In-person and tele-health options are available for individuals in Illinois.

Family Counseling

I offer family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, attachment and attunement, and fostering closeness and empathy between all parties. Often, families expriencing the strain of divorce, remarriage, step-parenting, and co-parenting, benefit from the outside support and insight offered by family therapy. In-person and tele-health options are available for individuals in Illinois.

Children and Adolescent Counseling

I have intimate knowledge of what it means to support and nurture children through adolescence. I understand the complicated nature of renegotiating expectations, responsibilities, and boundaries as children age, and the stress this can cause to both parents and teens. Children often do not have the words for how they are feeling therefore they do not know how to communicate them effectively. Therefore guiding children in exploring and naming their emotions is an imperative step into learning emotional regulation and how to effectively communicate their feelings. Adolescents often express anxious and depressive symptoms differently than adults. I utilize age-appropriate methods of evaluating and treating teens. In-person and tele-health options are available for individuals in Illinois.
